Supa Nails x DENA
Had such a good time with denafromtheblock yesterday. We were listening to Dilla beats all evening, playing around with some neon colors and we both fell in love with those golden nail jewelry from hexnailjewelry. Definitely gonna get me some more of those tiny treasures!
We need some more LOVE in here!!!
So looking forward to another nail&dilla session with this sweet lady.
All it sometimes needs is a second chance
So I gave that Instant Gellish another chance because I really like the color.
This time it turned out pretty good and I’m rocking these nails since 5 days now.
No chipping as promised and still shining, I like!
Lord knows what went wrong the first time.
I added the camouflage and shapes with acrylic paint and sealed them with a topcoat. You can either use a normal topcoat that won’t last as long as the gel nails but will do the job. But you’re better off using a gel topcoat.
The color I used is from 1Q32’s Baby Q Collection (Code: QBB051).
Instant Gel Polish Test
The plan was simple: To test this instant gel polish, see how long it would last, write a review and show how to add some nail art to it.
Unfortunately the instant gel polish didn’t even survive the second day, as you can see in the picture. It was pretty easy to peel the gel coat off the second day. Which is pretty disappointing for a gel polish.
But I definitely wanna try some more soak-off gels and hope to be able to report some better results soon.

Supa Nails for a Birthday
Catrice 830 Salmon & Garfunkel. That’s my favorite nail polish right now. What’s yours?
12 Stars for Eddie Izzard
Eddie stopped by in Berlin for a show and needed to get his nails done.
No problem I thought. But when I practiced painting the European Union Flag I realized it’s tougher than it looks.
12 tiny stars, in a circle, on a curved canvas are pretty challenging.
But I’m not that type of artist who gives up easily and after a few attempts it finally worked out.
What do you think?
I really liked Eddie’s trademark flags and thought it would be a nice idea to paint him a set of flags for each remaining country on his European tour and Berlin-Bear nails as a souvenir.
The candynailz ladies were supa hospitable. They allowed me do the nail art at their salon and Ina did a great job on the gel.
I simply love this reflecting gold!
My new nails make me happy.
Spring hasn’t arrived in Berlin yet but it’s a beautiful snow sunny day. Time for some bright colors to welcome the sun.
